Sexual Health Services in Oxfordshire

Oxfordshire County Council would like to hear what you think about sexual health services. We are not asking any questions about your sex life and you won't be asked any personal questions in the questionnaire.

We want to check that services are meeting your needs and if there are ways that they can be improved. What you tell us will help us to know if we are getting it right.

Even if you have never used these services, we are still keen to hear your views about why and if anything different should happen to make the service easier for you to use if you would like to.

All responses are anonymous and no information will be used for any other purpose.

More information about Sexual Health Services

There are 9 sexual health clinics in Oxfordshire designed as a ‘one stop shop’, meaning that more than one sexual health service can often be accessed in the same appointment. These provide:

  • advice and support about sexual health
  • tests and treatment for sexually transmitted infections (STIs) such as chlamydia and gonorrhoea
  • contraception
  • support around unplanned pregnancy (including referral to abortion/termination services)

As well as the sexual health clinics, some sexual health services are also available through chemists, GPs, and school and college health nurses. These include:

  • a range of contraceptive options (including emergency contraception, coils and implants)
  • chlamydia testing (including an online requesting system where the test kit is sent to you)
  • free condoms for young people
  • support, information and advice about sex, relationships and unplanned pregnancy

Please note this is not a complete list of available services. For more information, visit: www.sexualhealthoxfordshire.nhs.uk

So we’re inviting people to complete a short online questionnaire, which can be found by clicking the link below.
