You Said We Did: Thames Valley 111 - 'The new front door to urgent care'

Phone imageYou said.....We did.....

Following the feedback received from patients across the Thames Valley region in 2015 about their experiences and ideas for NHS 111 (see the Oxfordshire survey 2015 here and Thames Valley 'You said we did' feedback here), an improved Thames Valley 111 service is now being developed.

The improved Thames Valley 111 service will offer patients access to a 24/7 urgent clinical assessment and treatment service - bringing together NHS 111, GP out-of-hours and other clinical advice, such as dental, medicines and mental health.  The new service will be developed around the patient, with a team of clinicians available on the phone when needed, and will be linked into a new NHS Clinical Hub - a group of healthcare professionals who can help get the patient the right care, at the right time, in the right location.
