Draft Oxfordshire Joint Health and Wellbeing Strategy (2018 - 2023)

happy child

This consultation is a joint Oxfordshire Clinical Commissioning Group – Oxfordshire County Council exercise, run on behalf of the Oxfordshire Health & Wellbeing Board.

A Draft Oxfordshire Joint Health and Wellbeing Strategy (2018 – 2023) has been developed and we would like to hear your views.

This strategy is all about you, the people who live in, work in and visit Oxfordshire. It tells the story of how the NHS, councils and Healthwatch work together to improve your health and wellbeing. We work together as the Oxfordshire Health and Wellbeing Board. The membership has just been reviewed, and so we see this as our chance to begin a fresh conversation with you.

The strategy paints a picture of the things we intend to do, but it needs input from you.

During 2018 there was wide engagement on the Good Start in Life (Children’s section) and the Ageing Well (Older People’s section). These sections have incorporated feedback from the engagement already undertaken.

There are several ways you can share your views about this strategy with us:

  • request a paper copy of the questionnaire by calling 01865 334638 or emailing: OCCG.talking.health@nhs.net or printing off a copy of the questionnaire - see below. Please send completed paper copies to:

FREEPOST OXFORDSHIRE CLINICAL COMMISSIONING GROUP

(No further address details required - please write in capitals)

  • Send an email titled ‘Draft Oxfordshire Joint Health and Wellbeing Strategy to: OCCG.talking.health@nhs.net
  • Download and print off the questionnaire below and return to the above Freepost address

This questionnaire is being jointly managed by Oxfordshire Clinical Commissioning Group and Oxfordshire County Council and so both organisations will have access to information you share. No personal details will be published in the results of this work.

The Questionnaire survey is open until 9.00am on Monday 20 February

What happens next?

We will listen carefully to the views and suggestions shared with us and the draft Oxfordshire Joint Health and Wellbeing Strategy 2018 - 2023 will be reviewed in light of the feedback we have received.

The final version of the draft strategy will be presented to the Health and Wellbeing Board on 21 March 2019 for approval.

This engagement activity has now closed.
